Connie Hammond McChesney Developing Futures Scholarship
We are proud to announce the Connie Hammond McChesney Developing Futures Scholarship at Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida!
At Educational Services & Consulting (ESC), we believe that education is the key to success. This special scholarship has been created in honor of our beloved family member, Connie Hammond McChesney, the original founder of Educational Services & Consulting.
This scholarship fund is designed to provide financial assistance to students who are considering pursuing insurance adjuster education.
We understand that the cost of education can be a significant barrier for many students. By establishing this scholarship fund, we hope to help alleviate some of that financial burden and make it easier for students to achieve their academic and career goals.
We created this scholarship in partnership with the Polk State College Foundation as part of our philanthropic initiative of continuing to expand educational opportunities around the country. Our hope is that this scholarship will grow year after year with additional contributions from other industry like organizations. This scholarship’s purpose is aligned with our mission which is to provide opportunities to achieve your professional goals through specialized education in insurance designations.
Our hope is that this scholarship will provide a pathway for people who desire to grow their career as an insurance adjuster that previously would not have been accessible.
We invite other businesses in the community to help us expand the scholarship dollars so we can award many more students and lessen their financial burden to further their education. We offer a range of courses and training programs designed to help students prepare for the insurance industry’s demands. With more and more catastrophic events caused by Mother Nature, the need for licensed adjusters is growing at a rapid rate.
When students take our 6-20 Accredited Claims Adjuster designation course, after passing our final exam they can apply to the State of Florida for their All Lines Adjuster license.
Other states within the United States have a reciprocity agreement with the State of Florida. Once individuals obtain their Florida license, they are eligible to work in 34 of the 37 states across the United States that require an adjuster license. Those participating states will offer a reciprocal license to practice in their state, however, individuals must have a valid Florida all-lines adjuster license to be eligible for the reciprocity opportunity.
