It's Been A Busy Year!
If this year had a theme at Educational Services and Consulting, it would be engagement. We increased the number of ways we engaged in professional development by attending four conferences in our area of expertise. We also added a dedicated philanthropy engagement with our support of THON at our alma mater. Most importantly, we continued to engage and support our students every day. Here’s a look back at 2022 at ESC.
We attended five industry-wide conferences over 15 days with countless interactions and takeaways that will help us better serve our students and continue to be industry leaders.
We learned ways to continue building on our experience as a leading provider creating professional opportunities. From Florida to Nashville to Seattle, we talked with attendees at our booths in crowded exhibit halls and attended professional development sessions that provided an additional layer of industry insights and thought leadership.
As we wind down 2022, we are excited about our announcement to support THON at Penn State University (PSU) as a corporate sponsor in 2023. We chose to donate to the largest student-run philanthropy in the world that focuses on raising money to fight childhood cancer by becoming a corporate sponsor in memory of our Aunt Connie McChesney, a 1980 PSU graduate. With our donation level we are members of the THON For the Kids Society and members of the Penn State University’s President’s Club. Our donation is made in credit of the Women In Business (WIB) organization at Penn State that Angela (our Co-Owner and Chief Operations Officer) was a part of. She represented WIB as a THON dancer in 2012. Read more about our involvement with THON.
Aunt Connie’s initial intention with ESC was to provide an opportunity where anyone could feel like they had the support, power and resources to obtain an education that provided a pathway to a sustainable career. We recognize this starts with children. Children and their families impacted by childhood cancer deserve a fighting chance and need our support.
We’re proud to support student organizations to make a difference in the community and promote student involvement on campus, especially for an organization that made a difference for our business as PSU graduates.
We continued to put our students first. This year we increased our engagement and support of our students. Our online learning environment offers flexibility for the mature person looking to grow their career while maintaining personal obligations. Our tools give our students the proven methods for successfully completing our course, earning their 6-20 accredited claims adjuster designation, and applying for their all-lines adjuster license in Florida.
Beyond preparing them to be successful in their new career field, we give our students the information and proven methods for sustained success. Our students learn how to move their career goals forward without burning out. Using our self-paced, online course, our students ultimately determine their outcomes and learn the necessary balance to create healthy work and life boundaries.
Here’s to 2023 with even more engagement and success for ESC, our students and those who participate in and receive support from THON!
For more information on how to earn your 6-20 ACA designation with the support of ESC, we invite you to call our Clermont, Florida office at 1-800-309-2459 or read more about the accredited claims adjuster certification process on our website. In Florida, once you earn your 6-20 accredited claims adjuster designation, you can apply to the state for your all-lines adjuster license. This will enable you to work on home insurance claims, auto and RV insurance claims and property insurance claims. You would have the flexibility to work as a staff claims adjuster or an independent insurance adjuster.
As we enjoy the holidays, all of us at Educational Services & Consulting look forward to welcoming more students in 2023 into our online courses and help them to further their career goals.
